Bobby Henon For City Council

About Bobby

Philly PlayAfter delivering major results in his first two terms in office, Bobby Henon ran unopposed in 2015, and has no Democratic challenger in the 2019 Primary.

An effective legislator, in 2016, he was unanimously chosen by his Council colleagues to serve as Majority Leader, which speaks volumes about the high regard in which his Council colleagues hold him.

Prior to serving on City Council, Bobby Henon worked as an electrician after completing the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 98 college-accredited apprenticeship program. He worked his way up through the union, eventually becoming Local 98’s Political Director, a position which allowed him to learn the legislative process at every level on behalf of his fellow members.

Councilman Henon resides in the East Torresdale neighborhood with his wife Jill and their two sons, Matt and Zack.
